Neutrogena® Hydro Boost Body Product Review
Updated: Nov 14, 2018
Happy weekend! I am super excited to share this product review with you today. First though, I have to say a huge thank you to Neutrogena® for sending me their new Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream (original scent and fragrance free), Hydro Boost Whipped Body Balm and Hydro Boost Hand Gel Cream to try out. #GotitFree I really appreciate it and thank you for the opportunity.
Yes, this is the same awesome Neutrogena® brand that carries the #1 best-selling facial moisturizer. :)
First a little info about me to provide some context. I am extremely OCD about taking care of my face (I am not getting any younger here); for real, like clock work with my daily skincare face routine (eye-cream, face serum, sunscreen, moisturizer, hydration mask, always remove makeup at night, etc.). However, I have to be honest I totally neglect the rest of my skin because I get lazy and I haven't really been able to find a lotion or lotions that I like enough.
When I say "like", I mean a moisturizer/lotion that actually hydrates my skin long-term while not being super thick and heavy. More importantly, one that absorbs quickly too because I seriously cringe when trying to get dressed and my clothes stick to me. YUCK!
Even though I am fully aware of this self-induced neglect, I still get mad and frustrated when the skin on my arms, hands and legs is dull, dry and itchy! LOL The struggle! Anyone else with me here?
Okay now that this is out there, you can see why I was super excited to try out these new products, right? Spoiler Alert: I totally recommend them, but will say they are not perfect, but they have become part of my daily overall skincare routine. Another great thing, you can get these new items online via www.Neutrogena.com or from all national food and drug stores. I will just buy online from Walmart and pick it up; love convenience, don't you?
Check out my full, honest review of these products below. Cheers!!!
Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream (original scent) & Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream (fragrance free) - I have to say I really do like this body gel cream. The original scent one smells great, not too strong, and hydrates my skin for a long time. Plus, you only need a small amount each use, which is awesome because it lasts longer this way. The same goes for the fragrance free. The only con is that while it definitely absorbs faster than others I have tried, I still do have to wait a couple of minutes for it to fully absorb. Other than that though, love them.
Hydro Boost Whipped Body Balm - I really also like the body balm too. It's super hydrating and I love the packaging because I can easily travel with it and it will not make a mess. For example, I took this on my girl's weekend because it was great and easy to
store as opposed to the bottle for the body gel cream. Not sure about you, but I am awful at trying to close or lock pump bottle, haha. :) It also smells light and refreshing too. Also, it actually absorbs fast and definitely faster then the body gel cream.
Hydro Boost Hand Gel Cream - I think this is my new favorite hand cream! For real, it is great. It's not greasy feeling, absorbs quickly, doesn't leave a residue, actually hydrates my hand for a long time so I don't have to keep reapplying, and I don't have to use a lot at once. A small amount goes a long way. Plus, it has a super very lite refreshing smell. This baby is now in every handbag I carry. :)
