Dry Shampoo: I Love you! Check out Recommendations & Reviews

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend and hopefully not a terrible Monday. My weekend was super busy as well as super fun! We had two really fun holiday parties on Saturday and then Sunday was recover, watch football, and attempt cleaning house while prepping for the upcoming work week. Not too bad, however, I did not want to leave my bed this morning and was hurting. Per usual, the thought of getting ready for work or to go out in public at all was like the end of the world to me this morning. Especially, when I thought, to myself: “OMG, I need to wash ALL of this HAIR and dry it too!!!” I seriously have really long and think hair, not a bad thing, but I am lazy and loath doing this hair in the morning every day.

Luckily though, once I came to a little more, I realized, wait I have dry shampoo!!! Yay!!! Anyways, can I just say thank goodness for Dry Shampoo! It is one of the best things ever! I love it! If you have not tried this yet, I totally recommend it. I know there are a lot of options in various price ranges out there like everything else, which doesn’t make it easy to figure out what brand to select.

Therefore, I thought I would share my tip for helping make decisions on these type things. What I like to do before I purchase new products like this is I go to a website called Total Beauty and I quickly take a peek at real people’s reviews and ratings of items before I buy.

I can’t say enough how much I love this great site & again no, I don't get anything for promoting them. It is so helpful and super user friendly. The layout is also very efficient, because for me, I don’t want to have to search and click a thousand times to get where I need or want to be. Plus, they give you their personal Editors picks as well as the Reader’s Choice (aka real people) picks for items. They cover everything beauty too; it is great!

Anyways, if you are interested take a look at their site here: :)

As for dry shampoo goes, I have tried the Herbal Essence as well as the Batiste Dry Shampoo brand and I really love both brands. I use both often because I can get them easily at CVS, RITE AID, WALMART, Target, Ulta and Amazon; plus Batiste is only $7-8 dollars and Herbal Essence is only $6-8. As I have mentioned before, I live on a budget, but like quality items. ;)

Check out the reviews for these products (just scroll down to the Dry Shampoo Award Winner section on the page) and check out this helpful article from Total Beauty about the 10 Best Dry Shampoos and the 2 Worst.

Spoiler Alert: I can vouch for the Tresemmé Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo on the worst list; it is no good; at least for me. I love their products normally, but not this one. Also, check out this one about selecting dry shampoo based on your hair color; super helpful! Oh and if you are new to using Dry Shampoo, check out Total Beauty’s tutorial here.

Happy dry shampooing! Cheers!!!

Below is a picture taken of me and my fur baby Abbey this morning pre coffee and pre work. I used the Herbal Essence Dry Shampoo this morning. My hair was last washed and styled with a lot of hairspray on Saturday afternoon.
